FAQ's
Q – Is there an age limit?
A – All lessees are required to be a minimum of 18 years of age to enter into our legal Rental Requirements. Those 18 or under must have legal guardian consent to rent kayaks or paddleboards. All ages are welcome to enjoy our equipment but drivers of our motorized PWC must be at least 21 years of age.
Q – Where do I go to rent equipment?
A – We are a concierge service so we bring it to you. We can accommodate you in the areas spanning from and around Holiday Beach to City By The Sea and to the west of Copano Bay . We are not opposed to serving our clients outside of these areas and if booked in advance can likely accommodate your needs within reason.
Q – What documents will be required to use the equipment?
A – A valid Driver’s License, Boaters Safety Card (required for PWC), required for PWC and rental agreement.
Q – What is required to make a reservation ?
A – A valid ID and credit card. Credit card is required for the reservation fee and/or to cover any incidentals which may occur during your outing. The reservation fee will be applied to the total balance at the time of check-out. Fee is $300 per PWC, $100 per kayak/paddle board, and $50 for all other. SEE refund/cancellation policy.
Q – When do I need to arrive?
A – PWC, kayaks, and paddleboards 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Q – What if unfavorable weather is predicted?
A – We will not cancel reservations due to forecasted weather, but if the weather poses a safety risk during the reserved outing the option to reschedule will be made available .
In the event of an early return due to rain, lightning, or severe weather, we will issue an in-store credit for any portion of the unused time for one year. Once an outing is underway there are no monetary refunds.
Q – What is the refund/cancellation policy?
A – 30+ days before reservation = 100% refund; 15-30 days before reservation = 50% refund; 7-14 days before reservation = 25% refund; 0-7 days before reservation = 0% refund.
Q – Is there a security deposit?
A – There is a reservation fee of $300 per PWC, $100 per kayak/paddle board, and $50 for all other.. Lessee is responsible for any damages to the equipment while in use, regardless of who is using it.
Q – No-show/no-call policy?
A – There are absolutely no refunds for no-shows. The best thing to do if you are not sure you will show is call but it must be before the scheduled reservation time. We will make every effort to reschedule towards a future rental without losing the credit with, just a call.
Q – Can I keep my rental overnight?
A – If you have reservations spanning more than a day and it is not a PWC you are free to keep the rental until your reservation has expired. If it is a PWC we will come pick it up at dusk and return to you the following morning. We service our PWC daily after each use.
Q – Do we have to wear life jackets?
A – Life jackets are provided and required to be on-board all vessels at all times per person occupying the vessel. Anyone ages 13 and under must always wear a life jacket. Anyone on the PWC must also wear a life jacket at all times.
